Florida Film & Television Center
Film & Television Studios
Our Design/Build Team provided the design, selective demolition, and the required construction for the Florida Film and Television Center (formerly referred to by the Owner as the “Miami Entertainment Complex”). The existing 1947 warehouse was transformed into a new, state-of-the-art TV/film complex that will provide the infrastructure necessary to attract TV series, commercials and big screen film productions as tenants for the use of the facilities year-round. The facility is owned by the OMNI & Midtown Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), and is located at 50 NW 14 Street, near the Performing Arts Center within the designated Media and Entertainment District of Downtown Miami, Florida. The original 1947-built warehouse building, previously owned by the Miami-Dade School Board, was acquired by the Omni CRA with the intent to transform it into a world-class film studio complex. The building has a footprint of 88,064 SF and covers the entire site with zero setbacks on any of its sides.
