Within Florida International University’s newest parking garage, Our Team built a state-of-the-art facility for its College of Engineering and Computing to prepare students for high-tech careers. The Tech Station, part of the School of Computing and Information Sciences, is a $3 million, 8,000-square foot space. It includes high-tech classrooms, team rooms, advisory centers for mentoring, research and computer labs, and event space for workshops and hackathons. The classrooms are used to teach big data, cyber security, cloud computing and other SCIS subjects. The team rooms feature 70-inch screens where students can hook up their laptops to collaborate on projects.
